Del Monte Square Courtyard

Just after the turn of the century, a railroad siding and platform was built between the old Del Monte Cannery and the Haslett Warehouse where the Argonaut Hotel now stands.

THE CANNERY developed the Courtyard, which was originally designed by Thomas Church, and has maintained it since 1967.

Over the years it has been an active and invigorating space for public enjoyment.

Countless entertainers, including Robin Williams, Shields and Yarnell, Jefferson Airplane, and A. Whitney Brown, have performed on the Courtyard stage.
