On Monday April 7th, 2008, The Food Network came to The Cannery's outdoor courtyard for what we believed to be the filming of a new show called "Party Hardy" with local chef Gerard Nebesky whose specialty is making paella. The filming began when we were suprised with a guest appearance by Bobby Flay which then turned into a "Throw Down With Bobby Flay". There was tension in the air but, both chefs were able to cook up some mighty tasty crowd pleasing paella! The two local judges were Daniel Olivella, Executive Chef-Partner of B44 Catalan Bistro and Andy Booth, owner of The Spanish Table. Stay tuned for the winner of this competition. The episode will air sometime in July on The Food Network channel.
